Tanuki Dubai Has Opened Its Doors

Located in Dubai Mall on the Lower Ground Floor, Tanuki Dubai provides a gateway to a unique Asian culinary experience. The recently opened outlet is home to a sprawling terrace that boasts spectacular views of both the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains, providing diners with front row seats to the show.

The menu is thoughtfully curated and seasonally updated with sushi, sashimi, dim sum, and hot and cold Asian fusion dishes created with a contemporary approach in preparation and presentation. Signature dishes include the Tanuki Tom Yam soup, Tanuki Shinsei Maki with Crab, Salmon and Tobiko, warmed Maki rolls such as the Tanuki Kogase with lightly seared Salmon, Eel and Cream Cheese, California Hot Maki and Philadelphia Unagi Maki. Guests can also enjoy hand-made Dim Sum and Xian Long Bao with Chicken, Truffle and Seafood, as well as a selection of wok-fried noodles and rice dishes. Tanuki offers a unique selection of sweet treats and desserts including the steamed Chocolate Xian Long Bao and a selection of Mochi.

The family-friendly restaurant features a state-of-the-art robot, who welcomes guests at the entrance and interacts with customers. Children are encouraged to greet the robot, who will entertain them with a song or a dance and offer them a ticket or voucher fully redeemable within Tanuki.

Tanuki Dubai is now open for lunch, dinner, and late-night from 11am to 12am throughout the week and 11am to 1am at the weekend. The soul-soothing cuisine was designed to bring friends and families together, to satiate hunger, and deliver an entirely new sensory experience.
