Bull & Bear in DIFC launches its first brunch called “The Bull of Wall Street”. The 80’s themed experience – open for public bookings from 2nd October 2020 – pays homage to the Martin Scorsese film “The Wolf of Wall St.” referencing iconic moments from the film while also tipping it’s hat to the fun-loving traders from the 80’s and 90’s.
The stylish New York inspired restaurant – situated on the 18th floor of the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre – is the perfect setting to let your hair down on Fridays with its panoramic views across the city, uber-stylish interiors and contemporary twists on classic New York grill dishes. Upon arrival guests will be greeted with the hand-forged, gold bull and bear sculptures – symbolic of the famous bull statue outside the New York stock exchange – after walking past the ornate bar and through to the impressive open dining room with generous spacing and high ceilings.
Guests can channel their inner Margot Robbie or Leonardo Di Caprio and celebrate the weekend in style, leaving inhibitions behind to relax with a selection of two brunch exclusive packages; AED 290 for soft drinks or AED 450 for bubbles, house beverages and a selection of mixers.
The live house-band “Cross Fire” will up the tempo through the afternoon with a set-list of classic covers from the 1980’s and 1990’s, while brunch-goers enjoy a fine selection of signature dishes such as: Alligator Pear (pickled avocado, cilantro, pomegranate, kalamata rice cracker, gazpacho jelly), Wagyu Beef Tartare (house relish, slow cooked egg yolk, saffron aioli, fine herb salad), Beef Rossini (braised short ribs, foie gras, mushroom ketchup, crispy shallots, truffle sauce), Palamos Octopus (charred octopus, lemon eggplant purée, shaved fennel salad, Padrón peppers, chimichurri), The Big Apple (muscovado apple, caramelized rosemary apple, green apple foam, walnut crumble, green apple sorbet) and a delectable dessert board to be revealed on the day.
The Bull of Wall St. brunch promises to become as iconic as the movie that it champions for Dubai’s weekend millionaires. The main difference is that at least most revelers are not due back into work the following day, unlike their counterparts from the Scorsese classic.
