Vegan, Classic English & More Unique Afternoon Tea Experiences At Rosewood Abu Dhabi

Majlis Lobby Lounge, Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s grand living room, has introduced a series of afternoon tea themes with options highlighting A Sense of Place experiences. Each experience offers afternoon tea aficionados the chance to explore a variety of themes in a comfortable setting surrounded by stunning panoramic views of Abu Dhabi.

Alongside the ‘Classic English’ Afternoon Tea with its popular Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam, Salmon Sandwiches, Caramelized Onion and Swiss Cheese on Sourdough, and Mini Quiche, the new themed choices include an Asian flavor menu with ‘The Best of Dai Pai Dong’ Afternoon Tea, Middle Eastern favorite bites with the ‘Levantine Afternoon Tea’, ‘The Vegan Experience’ or the ‘Strictly Vegetarians’ indulgence.

Kicking off the exciting new selection of afternoon tea specials, the ‘Vegan Experience’ features an impressive selection of plant-based pastries, along with mouth-watering finger sandwiches such as Seared Tofu and Orange, Grilled Vegetables, Mushroom, Spinach and Sun Dried Tomato, and vegan desserts including Rhubarb Berry Shooter and Fruit Spring Roll.

The ‘Strictly Vegetarians’ menu gives patrons a taste of Burrata and Balsamic Glazed Tomato, Grilled Vegetable Focaccia, Peanut Truffle and Peach Somosa, among others.

Dim Sum lovers will savour a wide range of the bite-sized dishes with the ‘Best of Dai Pai Dong’ experience accompanied by traditional Sui Mai and Har Gow dumplings, Crispy Duck Salad, and Spring Rolls, while the dessert menu features the classic Egg Tart and Mango Pancakes.

For those seeking an afternoon with Middle Eastern flavors, the ‘Levantine Afternoon Tea’ experience with a selection of Beetroot Mutabbal, Kibbet Al Basha, Grilled Halloumi and a selection of desserts including Baklawa, Halawa Bel Jeben and Esh Al Saraya will surely delight. This selection of Afternoon Tea comes with your choice of Moroccan tea or specialty cocktails.
