The Drawing Room’s elegant classic Afternoon Tea is always a memorable experience to share with friends and loved ones. Guests are encouraged to relax into the plush surroundings of the elegant lounge, and savour a curated array of delicate traditional sandwiches, delicious cakes, golden pastries and freshly baked scones, all served with fresh loose-leaf teas and barista-style coffees.
The classic afternoon tea is an iconic tradition that has graced the gatherings of luminaries for centuries. The sophisticated ritual at The Drawing Room is inspired by the original afternoon teas hosted by Lady Caroline Astor, the founder of the first St. Regis hotel in New York. Mrs Astor started hosting afternoon teas in 1904 as way of introducing herself to New York society and gathering with her closest friends, and since then it has become a signature and defining part of The St. Regis experience.
Chocolate enthusiasts can also indulge in a carefully curated reimagined array of elegant and irresistible handcrafted chocolates expertly prepared by the pastry chefs at The Drawing Room.
