In preparation for the upcoming Dubai Food Festival, which is running in the city from the 21st April to 7th May 2023, Dubai’s award-winning Japanese restaurant and lounge TABŪ is inviting food-lovers to experience explosive flavours courtesy of celebrity resident chef, Roberto Segura. With two distinct and exclusive experiences – a chef’s table and a masterclass – guests who book in are promised an evening of not only exquisite dishes, but also immersive gastronomy, and an intimate and exclusive setting.
On Saturday, April 29th, Chef Roberto Segura and his expert culinary team will curate a special tasting menu featuring the crème de la crème of TABŪ’s menu. Guided specially by the celebrity chef, the soiree is a unique journey through innovative, modern Japanese flavours, served in one of the most enigmatic locations in the city. Priced at AED 450 per person, the one-time experience is a steal as guests can relish the flavours of TABŪ’s best dishes. The experience commences at 7:30pm, with limited spaces available for a maximum of 12 people, so guests are encouraged to book in advance to enjoy this five-star experience in an intimate atmosphere.
The following Saturday on May 6th, guests are invited to expand their horizons and book in for a masterclass on foundational Japanese cuisine from award-winning chef Roberto Segura. Guests can expect a thorough masterclass where they will learn how to prepare sushi and ceviche from scratch. They will learn about the art of correctly preparing the fish, pairing the sauces, perfecting the technique and understanding the flavours. Priced at AED 375 per person, with spaces for only 8 people available, a masterclass with TABŪ’s revered chef is the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. A two-hour class starting from 4:00pm, guests will learn to make dishes such as seabass ceviche, tuna Nikkei ceviche, spicy tuna maki and salmon nigiri with miso sauce.
