Exclusively for the Holy Month, Market at EDITION will present Iftar.

A contemporary Iftar in an inviting setting, join family and friends every day of the Holy Month and enjoy distinctive dishes created by locally renowned Chef Sara Aqel.

Named as a Michelin Bib Gourmand Chef in 2022, Chef Sara has showcased her culinary talents across the globe working as the Executive Chef for popular Italian-Mediterranean eatery Fi’lia in Miami, The Bahamas and most recently Paris. The 27-year-old is no stranger to the UAE food scene as well having worked in Al Muntaha (Burj Al Arab), Torno Subito (W Dubai – The Palm) and most famously in Fi’lia Dubai where she headed the first female-led restaurant in the region.

A recipient of numerous nominations and awards for her work, Sara is instantly recognisable for her trademark bandana and guests will have the opportunity to watch the chef herself in action as she crafts dishes that draw on her Palestinian upbringing with a touch of the Mediterranean for which she has become best known, every Thursday and Friday of Ramadan at Market at EDITION.

From sunset to 9:30pm, you and your loved ones will be able to enjoy a special Ramadan culinary experience that embraces an authentic local connection. Set in the light, modern Market at EDITION lifestyle restaurant, guests can anticipate Iftar action from live stations, or elevate the experience to intimate table service in the private dining room.

Indulge in sumptuous cuisine including piquant Fattoush and Lentil and Chickpea Salad, flavourful Chicken Shish Tawook and Lamb Kofta before delving into mighty main courses like Aloo Gobi, Prawn Harra and Butter Chicken.

But don’t forget to save room for dessert as you tempt yourself to a delicious delight like Kunafa, Umm Ali, Turkish Delight and Black Sesame Mousse to end on a sweet note.

As the night progresses, guests have the opportunity to relax and converse with Suhoor at The Abu Dhabi EDITION. Available for private bookings only, enjoy Arabian flavours from 10pm as you prepare for the upcoming day.

Suhoor at Market at EDITION 

As night turns to morn, sit back and relax on the Market at EDITION terrace, with a traditional Suhoor menu featuring savoury and sweet treats. Available for private groups only.

Arabic flavours will also be available.
