The precious porcini mushroom is one of Italy’s most treasured and delicious ingredients. Grown in the central and northern regions and available to pick in September and October, Villa Toscana has decided to celebrate the joyous occasion of porcini season with a specially crafted menu.
Bringing a tantalising array of reimagined Italian specialties to the elegant and sophisticated restaurant, the talented culinary team are proud to present a delectable choice of irresistible recipes inspired by the charm of this iconic mushroom variety. Offering tempting light antipasti and wholesome main courses, each delicacy flawlessly brings out the earthly and nutty flavours of this iconic ingredient.
Taking guests on an immersive journey through traditional Italian cuisine and the amazing countryside of Tuscany, Umbria and beyond, each palette pleaser incorporates handpicked porcini mushrooms sourced directly from Italy.
Guests are invited to start their sumptuous meal with a healthy appetiser of creamy Burrata Salad with a porcini crudité, or premium quality Beef Tartare with porcini and parmesan cream. This is then followed by a sumptuous first course of Homemade Tagliolini pasta with creamy porcini sauce, or crispy risotto with porcini.
Finally, the expertly crafted main courses showcase the magical tastes and textures of porcini alongside Grilled Prime Beef Tenderloin, or Hazelnut-Crusted Red Snapper.
The Porcini Festival menu is priced à la carte and available to enjoy exclusively from Friday, September 16th to Sunday, September 25th, between 7:00pm and 11:00pm.
