For our visit, we check into Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas Private Beach View Villa. This villa is located within the stand-alone villas of the hotel and measures approximately 120 square meters. The Private Beach View Villa boasts two restrooms, walk in closet, a large bedroom, a separate living room, kitchen, an enclosed terrace with an outdoor shower, another larger terrace with a private plunge pool, sun loungers and stunning views of the Arabian Sea and Saadiyat Beach.

As you enter the Private Beach View Villa you walk into the open plan living room which features a large L shaped sofa, an armchair, dining table and chairs, writing desk with internet access, Bluetooth player, 42-inch LED TV, and DVD player.

The bedroom, which is separate to the living room, features an open-plan marble bathroom including dual vanity sinks, a Hans Grohe walk-in rain shower, and deep-soaking stand-alone bathtub with plush bathrobes and Le Labo signature bath products. Just off the bathroom you will find a door that leads you to your own private outdoor shower.

If this isn’t impressive enough wait until you see the private outdoor terrace, this boasts a large day bed, outdoor patio set, a relaxation area, private plunge pool and did we mention the spanning ocean views? If we were to call this Private Beach View Villa magnificent that would still be an understatement. It’s no wonder so many celebrities choose to stay here.

Breakfast outdoors on the terrace is an absolute treat. I enjoy a range of Mediterranean favourites such as, Warm Breads, Olives, Smoked Salmon, Cheeses and Cured Meats whilst my companion opts for a more American style breakfast and enjoys Pancakes with Maple Syrup. Breakfast is completed with warm Pastries and a selection of Juices, Teas and Coffee.

Before departing the tranquil Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas we decide we cannot resist a trip to the spa. The Atarmia Spa is located just to the side of the lobby making it easily accessible. The spa features yet another pool for guests to enjoy, slightly hidden this is the place to go if you want a pool all to yourself.

We opt for the 60-minute Decadence Massage priced at AED 630. The Atarmia signature massage is a massage of the entire body using a combination of various techniques and signature oil. The massage is designed to melt away muscular stress, release tension, and leave guests with a radiant glow. As we enter the treatment room the room is dimly lit and smells sensational. We are shown to our private changing area. The whole area has been sanitized and the therapists are wearing face masks as well as face shields, very reassuring.

The therapists are very professional and make us feel comfortable throughout the treatment. The massage is soothing and calming, and the deep tissue work on our muscles results in us feeling much more limber. The treatment beds are extremely comfortable and add to the experience.

From the moment you arrive, to the moment you check out, be prepared to be treated like a VIP. The service, atmosphere and the cleanliness of the hotel is exceptional. Attention to detail is evident in all aspects of the hotel and our overall experience was fantastic.
