The launch of their new ‘Meat Me Mondays’ night, held every week has made this fine dining restaurant more accessible to those who want to try the best Gaucho has to offer. The fine selection of meats will immediately transport your palate to Buenos Aires and beyond. Meat Me Monday offers a variety of different cuts of steak perfectly paired with a plethora of delectable marinades that are carefully hand-crafted to complement each other to the fullest, an indulgence you would not want to miss.
The experience starts with warm bread, made in-house, soon after you are brought the star of the evening, the meat platter with 4 cuts of delectable Argentinean steak. First is the Lomo, a lean and tender fillet with a side marinade of Churrasco. We then tried the rib-eye, delicately marbled with a delicious, well-rounded flavor served with a Chimichurri marinade. The leanest cut is the rump, served with a delectable Ají Molido sauce. And finally, 100 grams of the sirloin, a succulent cut with a slight crisp served with the Gremolata marinade. The sides included fries, salad and an absolutely divine humita saltena – served in corn husk with roasted pumpkin and sweetcorn, topped with chives, truly delicious.
We decided to go beyond the Meat Me menu to indulge in some of their mouth-watering desserts. The dulce de leche cheesecake, a sensational indulgence worth every one of the calories was our first choice, along with a delightful dulce de leche fondant. A spectacular and sweet ending to a great evening filled with enjoying the finest of Latin American flavors, Gaucho is an absolute must-try for the meat lovers!
