Latte Art Throwdown At Central Grounds

Calling all baristas and amateur Latte artists; Central Grounds is the place to be this February as the café hosts its first Latte Art Throwdown.

Offering you the chance to showcase your creative skills around the coffee making machine and earn the title of Abu Dhabi’s best Latte artist, The Latte Art Throwdown in association with Coffee Planet will see the capital’s best baristas and caffeine heroes do battle over the counter on Saturday 11^th February from midday.

Using coffee beans, milk, a coffee machine and a cup, artists will craft their own bespoke design to wow judges who will award first, second and third places.

Aside from having the honour of being bestowed with Abu Dhabi’s best latte artist, those on the podium will also walk away with some great prizes including a one-night overnight stay at Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi with breakfast for two (first place); Inspired brunch collection with soft drinks for two at Kuzbara (second place); and breakfast for two in Kuzbara (third place).

But no matter whether your latte hits the spot or needs another shot, everyone who takes part in the competition or is present just to enjoy the competitive action will receive a coupon for 50% discount on a selected house beverage to be enjoyed at Velocity Sports Bar that day.
