Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi invites all to celebrate the Lantern and Moon Festival at the hotel on 2nd October 2020 as a symbol of unity and harmony. There will be delightful street food options, special cultural performances and a lantern-making workshop for the little ones.
The festivities will kick off with a lavish brunch at Sofra from 1.00pm onwards. The brunch includes beach and pool access and will also feature live stations with popular dishes from Chinese and Vietnamese regions.

Celebrations will continue with a street night-style dinner at the award-winning Chinese restaurant, Shang Palace, with a specially designed set menu of Chinese flavours, while Hoi An offers its traditional Vietnamese cuisine through a unique dining experience where guests enjoy a lantern-lit dinner. The Mid-Autumn Festival dinner will be available at both Shang Palace and Hoi An from 7.00pm until 11.00pm at AED 168 per person inclusive of soft drinks with an additional charge of AED 50 for the house beverage package.
Throughout the day, guests will have an opportunity to enjoy a Chinese Tea Master Show and Face Changing performance. In addition, the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere will be created by live music played on traditional Chinese and Vietnamese instruments during dinner time.
The Mid-Autumn festival is one of the largest festivals celebrated in Mainland China and East Asia.
