La Perle, A Breathtaking Show

Franco Dragone, one of the world’s most revered cultural artistic directors has left audiences in awe of his latest creation, La Perle. Praised for playing an instrumental role in Cirque du Soleil’s global success, Dragone created shows that without a spoken word told a story, forever changing the face of live entertainment.

Dragone now delves deep into creating a space customized to Dubai, with hard-hitting grandeur and a memorable setting you cannot miss. La Perle encompasses all that is Dubai, history, culture, a vibrant present and an aspirational future, all brought to life by spectacular performances from acting to acrobats.

La Perle is a breathtaking fusion of immersive artistic performances, imagery and technology. An international cast of 65 skilled artists, demonstrate their extraordinary set of superhuman aquatic and aerial stunts during the live 90-minute show.

The new 1,300 seat theatre, located in the heart of Al Habtoor City, has been purpose-built to host Dubai’s first permanent show. The theatre itself features an ‘aqua-stage’ filled with 2.7 million litres of water. Daredevil performers dive into the water-filled stage from a height of 25 metres and fly around the auditorium on high-powered winches at a speed of 15 kmp/h. Combining cutting-edge stagecraft and progressive technology.

When the first aquatic performer drops into the water, you cannot help but gasp in wonder and excitement. With performers trapezing and flying through the air, this is a show you would enjoy at any level of seating.
