The month of festivity is upon us and the merry elves at Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi are very busy turning the hotel into a Winter Wonderland. December will see the five-star hotel transform into a haven of Yuletide with a superb series of festive activations for young and old.
Gingerbread Workshop
Every weekend in the lead up to Christmas Day will see kids, big and small, get the opportunity to express their creative, culinary skills in the life-sized Gingerbread House. Under the guidance of Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi’s pastry chefs, you will be able to build and decorate your own home of sweet dreams, a Gingerbread house, and then take home your work for a tasty souvenir.
Priced at AED 150 per child discounts are available for groups, families and schools on request for the Gingerbread House workshops.
The Gingerbread House experience will be available every Saturday and Sunday of December from 3:00pm to 6:00pm except for Sunday 25th December (the workshop will be running on Friday 23th December and Saturday 24th December).
Festive Afternoon Tea At Central Grounds
Festive feelings will be taking over Central Grounds this Yuletide as the delightful afternoon tea gets into the season with a delectable array of sweet and savoury favourites. Savour a spread of moreish minced pies, festive cookies, gingerbread, orange yule log, cinnamon scones, stollen, red current macaroons alongside unlimited festive tea and coffee.

Christmas Eve Dinner At Kuzbara
The night before Christmas, we invite you and your family in to experience some festive cheer at Kuzbara where you can indulge in a delicious buffet, full of international cuisine and live cooking stations. Enjoy mulled wine, appetisers, soups, roasted leg of lamb, vegetables, kebabs, dark chocolate yule log and more. And there will be a special visit by Santa Claus who will hand out gifts to the children.
