Akabeko Is Now Open, Dubai’s First Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku Experience

Akabeko, Dubai’s latest culinary gem, proudly announces the grand opening of its doors in West Beach, Palm Jumeirah. Akabeko introduces a new and exciting concept to the vibrant culinary scene, bringing the first Japanese A5 Wagyu focused “Yakiniku” experience to the city.

What is Yakiniku you ask? In the simplest terms, it is a popular Japanese dining experience that involves grilling meat over a tabletop stove. At Akabeko, this classic practice is reimagined and elevated with a focus on a journey through different cuts of Japanese Wagyu beef, delivering an unparalleled dining experience.

With their nose to tail concept, Akabeko makes a strong statement about their commitment to the sustainable dining movement by presenting a menu that respects and honours the product, including all the “left behinds” and “secondaries”.

Guests are invited to be taken on a culinary journey, as their expert service team guides them through the different cuts, ensuring each bite is cooked to perfection.

Enjoy up to 12 different Japanese Wagyu cuts that are not served anywhere else or let the chef decide with the Yakiniku Moriawase platter. Other signature dishes included the Supreme Wag-Yukke, a spicy tartar garnished with scallops, uni, ikura and the decadent Akabeko Donburi with prime Wagyu steak, uni, caviar, covered in truffle. Finish off your meal with Akabeko’s signature truffle ice cream.

The restaurant’s location in West Beach ensures accessibility and a prime spot for residents and visitors alike to enjoy this unique dining experience. Akabeko’s interior is a visual feast in itself, boasting a refined, minimalist, and natural aesthetic that creates an inviting atmosphere with nods to clean, Japanese design.
