Café Bateel Launches Two New Summer Inspired Menus

Café Bateel, home of gourmet Mediterranean cuisine, announces the launch of two new and delicious menus, set to add a dash of flavour and fun to mealtimes this summer. Diners can delight in fresh and healthy options from the Summer Seasonal menu, packed with a choice of innovative dishes or cool off with Café Bateel’s long awaited Sundae menu, which features decedent desserts that the whole family will love.

The refreshed menu includes a selection of healthy salads, wholesome main courses and delectable desserts. Highlights include the Tuna Superfood, a salad made with seared Saku tuna, a tangy quinoa mixed with avocado, jirjir, olives, onions, cherry tomatoes and grilled peppers, finished with a delicate apple dressing.  A new range of sandwiches and mains make for a perfect lunch option, with the Chicken Panini with Emmenthal, the healthy Goji Berry Spaghetti with tomato sauce, basil and seared Buffalo Mozzarella and the Chilean Seabass, culinary pleasures not to miss. The new menu celebrates the season, offering guests the perfect dining experience including a choice of delicious desserts with treats such as the Raspberry Tiramsu, with mascarpone cream layered with traditional Italian sponge fingers topped with raspberry coulis and fresh raspberries, providing a sweet finish.

Sundae Menu 
Guests are invited to cool off this summer with a range of indulgent delicacies to ignite the senses. Café Bateel’s new Sundae menu offers a choice of unique dessert combinations, Bateel’s famous Artisan ice creams, a choice of delicious ice cream shakes and of course some signature toppings for added flavourful excitement. Soon to be favourites include the Bateel Date Sundae, served with homemade yoghurt ice cream, warm caramel sauce, Chantilly whipped cream and caramelised pecans, or the Isfahan Sundae, a heady mix of Panna cotta ice cream with meringue pieces, Chantilly whipped cream, fresh raspberries and lychee, combined with a raspberry rose coulis, and the Lemon Tart Sundae, with lemon ice cream, meringue pieces, Chantilly whipped cream and a sweet crumble topping. The menu will leave diners spoilt for choice this summer, making Café Bateel the only place to stay cool this season.
