Armani/Hashi returns to Dubai’s dining scene this season with a new menu dedicated to the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido. Hokkaido is world renowned for its high quality seafood. The cold waters that surround the island offer a bounty of oceanic delights, sea urchin, crab, squid, salmon roe and scallops are amongst the most celebrated and sought by chefs and award-winning restaurants around the globe.
This month Armani/Hashi has created a six-course menu that will feature some of the best seafood in the world, flown in directly from the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido for patrons to enjoy.
Begin with a welcome snack of Edamame as chef and his team prepare your starter of Oyster with Hokkaido Salmon Roe. Paying homage to Hokkaido Crab, the next dish is the nourishing Hokkaido Crab Dobin Soup, a theme that continues as chef reinvents the crab with the Chef Selection Sashimi with Hokkaido Sea Urchin and Crab Maki Rolls. The tempura dish breaks away from the seafood theme as patrons are invited to expand their taste buds with the Zangi Style Chicken Karaage. A palate cleanser follows, patrons are then presented with a choice of either Robata Grill Hokkaido King Crab with melt-in-the-mouth Tajima Wagyu or Robata Grill Hokkaido King Crab with flake-off-the-fork Black Cod. The dining experience concludes with the light and zesty Hokkaido Cheesecake with Tofu Ice Cream.
Set in Armani/Hashi restaurant and lounge, the menu aims to deliver the best of Japanese cuisine, blending tradition with imagination, each dish is unique and unlike before.
