Annual Abu Dhabi Dragon Boat Festival Returns To Abu Dhabi

Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, will host the Annual Abu Dhabi Dragon Boat Festival for its 10th year in a row on 27th and 28th October 2017, celebrating its highly successful decade-long presence in the hotel.

Spectators and guests can enjoy watching the highly anticipated race along the hotels 1km stretch of beach, while also enjoying a range of fun activities and entertainment throughout the day.

As part of the action-filled weekend at the complex, a special Dragon Boat Festival barbecue party will be held at Afyä, the beachside restaurant at the neighboring Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, for all participants. The barbecue is also available to guests attending the festival for a fee of AED 170*.

Every year, the Abu Dhabi Dragon Boat Festival held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri sees up to 2,000 participants. More than 20 international teams and 100 local teams have taken part in the race over the years, making it the largest dragon bat event in the region.
