Abu Dhabi Food Festival Deals

Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the 2018 Abu Dhabi Food Festival is set to return between 6^th to 22^nd December.

For the third consecutive year Dining and Nightlife Abu Dhabi have teamed up with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi to bring you a host of tasty happenings throughout the city.

Celebrity Chef

Dusit Thani has joined forces with Dining and Nightlife to launch an exciting promotional campaign at its newly unveiled TV celebrity chef Indian restaurant, Namak by Kunal Kapur.

During the festival the iconic restaurant will serve an exclusively tailored 10-course set menu, priced attractively at AED 190 net per person. There will be two versions of the set menu catering to the discerning palate of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners of Abu Dhabi and beyond.

Giving a glimpse of the menu, there will be an exotic repertoire of dishes from all over the Indian subcontinent, served in a unique, yet a contemporary style. Lamb broth (Mutton Shorma) served with saffron butter and gold varq, Tuna Tartare with nori crisps and traditional Yoghurt Ice-cream (Mango Lassi) dusted with pistachio powder are just few of Chef Kunal’s signature delicacies on this special menu. Celebrity Chef Kunal Kapur will be at Namak in person on the 9^th December.

Events

World of Food Abu Dhabi will be hosted at Um Al Emarat Park between 13^th and 17^th December, visitors will be able to take a culinary journey through more than 10 countries, sampling a mix of signature dishes served by international and Michelin star chefs.

7^th to 19^th December Manarat Al Saadiyat, will host MAS Vegan Market that will feature an array of vegan cuisine from UAE’s vegan hotspots, along with activities promoting a holistic and healthy lifestyle, such as Yoga and Reiki sessions.

6th to 8th December, Yas Links will also be hosting Big Grill, which will celebrate the art of cooking with fire and smoke bringing cooks and pitmasters from all over the UAE, as well as a live concert. The three-day event will feature lessons from Grill Masters on their techniques, recipes and secrets of the trade.
