A Truly Authentic Bedouin-Inspired Iftar Experience

Set within the undulating golden dunes of Abu Dhabi’s majestic desert, Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa is the perfect place to celebrate the month of Ramadan.

Inspired by the rich culture and fascinating heritage of the UAE, the private and exclusive resort resembles a traditional Arabian village, complete with authentic Middle Eastern artifacts and delicate Arabesque designs.

An Arabian Iftar at Al Mabeet Desert Camp

An elegant and unique setting for a Ramadan celebration, the mesmerising Al Mabeet Desert Camp is open exclusively for the special period. Inspired by the rustic camps of the Bedouin tribes, Al Mabeet features a traditional tent set up adorned with Bedouin-style décor, ornaments and a bonfire to gather around with loved ones and celebrate the spirit of the Holy Month.

Guests are invited to relax and absorb the peace and quiet of the expansive natural landscape and savour an authentic Iftar spread of delicious Arabic specialties and international favourites. The relaxing iftar experience is further enhanced with gentle melodies from a live Qanoon player, adding to the enchanting ambiance.

Presenting a plethora of live stations serving expertly crafted specialities, families and friends are encouraged to start their unforgettable experience with an array of healthy salads, heart-warming soups, and colourful hot and cold mezze.

The main courses then span Emirati delicacies such as whole slow-cooked lamb Ouzi, traditional Arabic grills and Levantine recipes such as chicken and lamb tagines and Moroccan-style hammour. Presenting a fully immersive journey through the world’s finest cuisines, the variety of Arabic specialties are found alongside juicy roast beef, spicy Indian curries, aromatic Asian stir-fries, Italian penne Arrabiata pasta and much more, all served with a curated selection of refreshing Ramadan drinks.

Every memorable Ramadan evening then concludes with a spectacular spread of indulgent desserts, including Arabic sweets such as kunafa, classic umm ali, golden baklava, and delicate pastries and cakes like creamy Italian tiramisu, delicate raspberry eclairs, irresistible burnt basque cheesecake and more.

The Arabian Iftar at Al Mabeet Desert Camp experience is available daily throughout the month of Ramadan from sunset to 10:00pm, priced AED 195 per person. Children aged between six and 12 can enjoy a 50% saving, while kids under six are invited to dine for free.
