Boasting mesmerising views of the Arabian Gulf and luxurious indoor and outdoor seating areas, Olea presents a vast iftar spread filled with irresistible delicacies, countless live cooking stations, seasonal favourites and inventive contemporary palate pleasers.

Alongside traditional Arabic and Mediterranean dishes, the menu traverses the globe in search of the finest flavours and the most innovative and exciting culinary delights. From juicy shish tawouk to platters of Italian antipasti and fresh saltcrusted whole red snapper, served from a live station, the Olea iftar experience far exceeds any other.

Starting with a diverse selection of tempting appetisers, guests are invited to break their fast with wholesome cold mezze and fresh salads such as fried cauliflower with tahini and crunchy fattoush, plus tasty hot nibbles like shrimp kunafa, assorted fatayer, kibbeh, falafel and fried halloumi.

After the opening course, diners are encouraged to explore the plethora of live stations, where the friendly expert kitchen team is waiting to prepare all manner of Arabic and international recipes. Topped with cheese, zaatar or kishk, the freshly baked aromatic saj breads are ideal for sharing, while the live grill presents endless treats for those with a weakness for juicy, high quality and perfectly cooked meats.

Grilled prawns, chicken shawarma, lamb botti and fish kebabs join live stations serving carved prime ribeye beef and rosemary chicken, whilst the colourful sides of steamed vegetables, roasted potatoes and creamy ricotta spinach ensure that every plateful is perfectly complete.

The Middle Eastern favourites such as chicken mussakhan, hummus fattah, ouzi and meat and vegetarian tagines are a treat for all the senses, while the star of the show is undoubtedly the traditional tandoor-pit roasted lamb, prepared out on the terrace and using a homemade special recipe.

Those with a passion for delicate spices will adore the Indian specialties such as murg makhani and prawn curry, while meat lovers simply can’t miss the sumptuous footlong karziya kebabs. Prepared out on the terrace on an open grill and served with vine leaves and cherry sauce, they’re guaranteed to satisfy even those with the largest of appetites.

Before continuing with the rest of their evening, guests are invited to linger and indulge in the incredible array of sweet indulgences, spanning everything from Arabic delicacies to home baked French pastries. The live stations serving rich and creamy homemade Arabic ice cream, and ashta with honey and pistachio are two of the most amazing highlights of the entire evening, whilst the classic umm ali, towering chocolate fountain, charcoal baked baklava and dreamy kunafa provide further decadent options.

The sumptuous Iftar at Olea is available throughout Ramadan, served from sunset to 11:00pm daily. Packages start from AED 250 for adults, and AED 125 for children aged six to twelve.
