Central to the story is the eclectic and extravagant ‘Mistress’ of the mansion Little Miss India herself, otherwise known as the fictional character Mohini Singh, who takes diners on a unique journey through her worldly travels, amazing achievements and an eccentric menu in her very own home. This quirky concept fuses a vibrant restaurant and lounge bar to tell a personal story, allowing guests to explore the incredible quality, history, and diversity of Indian cuisine.
Biryani is a culinary classic and one of the most beloved dishes for many who are fans of Indian cuisine. Little Miss India is celebrating all things biryani, and now, you can discover four different, mouthwatering versions from the 20th September to the 3rd October 2020.
Little Miss India’s popular Chef Arif has added four more exciting biryani dishes to the existing four on the menu, offering guests eight delicious biryani options to choose from. The new menu items will only be available for a limited time.
The highlight of the new menu is the Cardamom-Smoked 22 Carat Gold Lamb Shank Biryani, Indian Lamb Shanks, slow cooked for 6 hours, smoked with Cardamom (the only smoked biryani of its kind) and decorated with 22 carat gold for that extra luxurious touch.
The Tandoori Chicken Biryani offers a 12-hour marinated Chicken, cooked in a barbeque charcoal oven, in combination with a 14 unique spice-mix, inclusive of Saffron, the world’s most exclusive seasoning.
Vegetarians will enjoy the Vegetable and Soya Potli Biriyani, Potli meaning bag in Hindi, this biryani’s ingredients are sealed and baked in the oven in a bread bowl, locking in all of the beautiful flavors and aromas.
Finally, if seafood is your choice the Seafood Biryani is the dish for seafood lovers. Indulge in Scallops, Lobster, Dutch Mussels, Prawns, the finest Basmati Rice from the Northwest frontier of India and a combination of a 14 unique spice-mix including Saffron.
Adding a bit of showmanship, the Tandoori Chicken Biryani, Vegetable and Seafood Biryani are served in copper pans with a dough curtain and cut open on the table with Mohini Singh’s ancestral copper scissors.
Little Miss India is open Sunday to Saturday, with dinner reservations available between 6.00pm to 12.00am on weekdays, and lunch and dinner reservations from 1.00pm to 12.00am on weekends.
